Michelle Rhone

Ms. Michelle graduated from California State University East Bay, with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development emphasizing in Childhood. She has worked in the early childhood development field for 8 years and is dedicated to providing a safe environment for children to grow and flourish. She enjoys running, water painting, and kickboxing on her free time. She is the proud mother of her 5-year-old fur baby Benji. 



Margaret Neagu

Margaret has been an early childhood educator for 24 years. She believes the purpose of education is to engage all students intellectually, ethically, physically and socially in the pursuit of knowledge. Margaret believes her job is to facilitate the pursuit of learning by creating and maintaining a safe learning environment in which risk taking is encouraged, problem solving is developed and successes are celebrated. It is her passion to help students reach their full potential. She achieves this through differentiated instruction, scaffold learning and building upon prior knowledge to encourage each student's success and enthusiasm for learning. Margaret holds a BA in Liberal Studies and is fluent in Spanish. She has been married for 32 years and has two adult children.



Kim Kowatch

This is Kim's 32nd year of teaching at Adventures In Learning. Her philosophy is to ensure that the classroom is welcoming and that the children in her care feel safe and loved. Kim believes that children learn best when the material presented is developmentally appropriate and meets the child's specific needs. She is constantly building on the knowledge and skills that students bring to the classroom and partners with parents in the education process. Her goal is to build self-esteem and allow each child to be as independent as they can be. Kim is heading back to college this academic year to get even more early childhood qualifications.



Ms. Taylor

Ms. Taylor is 24 years old, and has been working with children for about 12 years now. She has worked with many different age groups ranging from infants to teenagers. I am currently finishing up school at Cal State Eastbay, to get my degree in human development. She grew up in Pleasanton, and is the oldest of 3. She love's to do art, and plan activities for the kids and is very passionate about kids with different learning abilities, and trying to find the most effective way of helping individuals learn. Some of her hobbies are gardening, art, sailing, and hiking.

she is also a huge fan of animals. She strives to help every child be the best they can be. She is a very loving, high energy, and fun person.



Anna Santiago

Anna has been an early childhood educator for more than 25 years with experience as a lead teacher, assistant director as well as working with infants, todlers and school aged children.

She is often asked what brought her to this center. Her church gave her the opportunity to obtain the necessary credentials to be an early childhood educator. Being an educator gives her joy and hope for our young citizens. It is a great honor for her to reach your students, it allows her to make a difference one child at a time.

She is still passionate about her work. she celebrates students' successes and milestones. Watching them succeed makes her happy. In her classroom she uses Conscious Discipline.



Ms. Breanna Lamere

Ms. Briana has been in the childcare field over 12 years and teaching for the past three. She found her passion for teaching in the fourth grade and when he graduated from Turlock Christian High School in 2009 she has been pursuing her education in child development to expand and build on her knowledge on how to a better teaching. “Children need guidance, love, understanding, fun, adventure, kindness and firmness. I want to give my students the best experience in learning not just about shapes, colors, numbers and the alphabet but also learn about being kind to others, how to break out of their safe zone and enjoy what and who are around them. Give them the tools to make good decisions and how to be successful as they grow older and not only have the word of God on their side but how to act on them.”



Ms. Nicole Goe

Ms. Nicole is 24 years old and has been working with children for a little over 2 years now. She has worked with children ranging from ages 6 months old to 10 years. I am currently a student at Diablo Valley College and plan on transferring in a year to get my degree in Psychology and become a counselor for middle school and high school students. I absolutely love working with the youth and am currently a high school leader at my home church. I'm very passionate about meeting children's needs emotionally, mentally and academically. Some of my hobbies include running, hot yoga, hiking and reading. I would say I'm a very compassionate, caring and loving person who just wants the best for every child.



Ms. Bridget

Ms Bridget is a student at Brandman University working towards her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and is very excited about finishing her General Education and continuing ECE classes in Fall. She has worked with children from ages 2-6 years old for 7 years. She is passionate about making sure that a safe environment is provided for children so they can learn and have fun. Ms Bridget loves art and paints on her free time, enjoys visiting art museums and she has a dog and a bird that she loves very much. She loves reading, music, animals, but especially dogs!


Ms. Sarah Carter

Ms.Sarah loves working with all ages of children. Along with teaching preschoolers,She leads a Bible study of high school girls through her church. She has an amazing 8 year old daughter and she is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical counseling with an emphasis in childhood and adolescent disorders. Her passion is for children to feel safe, loved, and competent throughout life, and that starts at this young, impressionable age in preschool. When she has free time she heads to the mountains to snowboard or go hike around the Bay Area.



Ed Untalan

Ed has been in the martial arts for decades, and is acknowledged by the BBFI and CMA Association as a senior eighth level black belt instructor. Ed has a passion to teach martial arts to children at an early age and believes it will develop their spiritual growth and spiritual maturity, strengthen character development, enhance behavior, and develop proper attitudes toward physical fitness and self defense. Ed believes when a child is physically fit, the child feels better about themselves. Additionally, Ed believes martial arts training will keep our kids healthy and physically fit and will improve the child’s behavior and improve attention span, respect for others, obedience to parents and other authority structures.



Emile Wallace

Emile has been an Early Childhood Educator for 16 years, and this is her 5th year teaching at Adventures In Learning. She loves being a part of the Celebrate Recovery Ministry and serving the families here at Harvest Valley Church. Her passion is to share the love of Jesus with the children and to help them grow in the knowledge that God has a plan for their lives. Emile has two grown daughters.
